School Agreements

The "Lexington School Way" pamphlet is distributed at the beginning of the school year. Teachers create "Classroom Agreements" with their students modeled on the International Baccalaureate's Learner Profile attributes.

We have a minimum number of problems at Lexington because we do take time to help children understand the need for boundaries, respect, and safety. All children are encouraged to think about their safety and the safety of others and behave in a respectful manner toward everyone at school. This is part of becoming global citizens.

When a matter is not able to be resolved by the teacher and student, the parents and/or principal may be contacted to work together to come to a resolution.
