Welcome to Lexington School!
Our Mission Statement:
Lexington Elementary School aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable, and caring young people who help create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. As an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School, Lexington encourages students to become ethical citizens of the world who are active, compassionate lifelong learners.
I was so excited to return to Lexington School after 11 years away. I began my "Wildcat" teaching career at Lexington School in 1997 as a third-grade teacher and helped bring the International Baccalaureate program to Lexington with my colleagues a few years later in 2007. After six years working at an IB school in southern Norway, and then returning stateside to work in Mill Valley where I continued to support global education initiatives, it was time to return to my roots!
I have been so grateful to work in an IB learning environment again. The Lexington staff and community show so much dedication toward developing lifelong global citizens! We will continue to move forward and make Lexington an even more exceptional IB Primary Years Program World School together.
