School Agreements

The "Lex Way" pamphlet is distributed at the beginning of the school year. Teachers create "Classroom Agreements" with their students modeled on the International Baccalaureate's Learner Profile attributes.

 

Lexington staff take time to help children understand the need for boundaries, respect, kindness, and safety. All children are encouraged to think about their safety and the safety of others and behave in a respectful manner toward everyone at school. This is an important part of becoming a global citizen. 

 

When a matter is not able to be resolved by the teacher and student, the parents and/or principal may be contacted to work together to come to a resolution.
